Elaphiti Islands, Slano (B, L)
This morning, after breakfast, you’ll be led on a guided tour through the marble streets of Dubrovnik’s Old City, encircled by magnificently intact medieval walls. Enjoy the stunning city and coastal scenery along with landmarks like Dubrovnik Cathedral, Rector’s Palace and the third oldest pharmacy in Europe. Once everyone is back onboard, we’ll sail toward the Elaphiti archipelago enjoying time for our first swim stop near one of the hilly, forested islands. Cruising on to Slano, this is your chance to sample the impressive gastronomic delights in Ston, including fresh mussels and oysters straight from the farm. We’ll enjoy them, paired with local wine, under the shady trees.
Mljet (B, L)
Discover the island gem of Mljet, a favorite among nature lovers with its striking blues and dazzling greens. This is the most forested and one of the greenest isles in Dalmatia – its national park protects the western part, which includes two saltwater lakes, Veliko Jezero and Malo Jezero. Veliko, or the Great Lake, is famous for its tiny islet that hosts a 12th-century Benedictine monastery and church, one of Croatia’s most impressive historic sites. Take an optional tour, joining your cruise manager to explore the park, or enjoy it on your own. There are scenic trails for biking and hiking as well as opportunities to swim and kayak.
Korcula (B, L)
We continue our cruise to the island of Korcula this morning, the birthplace of international explorer Marco Polo. As we pull into port, you’ll see the ancient walls and fortified bastions that encircle the Old Town. You’ll be able to enter on a guided tour to discover the narrow streets and their unique fishbone-layout that dates back to the 13th-century, lined with magnificent Venetian buildings. Afterward, browse the unique shops and galleries, or relax in one of the outdoor seaside cafes.
Vis (B, L, CD)
A pearl among the Croatian islands, mysterious Vis is next on our itinerary. It was left untouched by tourism development for years due its strategic location in the open sea, serving as a military base for four decades until opening to the public in 1989. Today visitors enjoy its picturesque beaches along with both well-preserved nature and traditional architecture. You’ll have time to explore Vis Town at your leisure, we recommend visiting the Issa Archaeological Museum which features Croatia’s largest collection of Hellenistic artifacts. This evening, the Captain’s Dinner will be hosted onboard.
Bisevo/Blue Cave, Hvar (B, L)
This morning we cruise to Bisevo Island to experience the famous Blue Cave which has an entrance that sits below sea level. When conditions are right, boats can enter, allowing visitors to witness the natural phenomenon that occurs with the sunlight causes the interior to be bathed in a shiny, silvery/blue glow. Afterwards, we sail to beautiful Hvar, one of the most popular islands and a gathering place for the international jet set. Meet your local guide upon our arrival for a guided tour of the Old Town, delving into the history and way of life before enjoying it on your own, dining in one of the many outstanding family-owned restaurants.
Bol/Milna, Split (B, L)
The day begins with an early morning departure to Bol, best-known for the famous Zlatni Rat, AKA Golden Horn beach, one of the best for swimming in Croatia. It has a unique, ever-changing shape that juts out one-third of a mile into the strikingly clear turquoise sea. Cruising to our final destination, magnificent Split, get ready for a fascinating tour, led by a local guide who will bring its story to life. Dating all the way back to the 4th-century, Roman Emperor Diocletian chose it as his retirement residence, building the maze-like palace you’ll see today, with beautifully preserved Roman architecture.
Once your bags are packed and ready, join us for the final breakfast on this luxury Croatia cruise. You’ll have time to say farewells to new friends made before taking transfer to your onward hotel or Split Airport for your return flight home.
