Croatia Cruises in May
One of our favorite times of the year to sail, Croatia cruises in May are often ideal, with temperatures warming but not too hot. Along the coast, you can expect pleasant, often sunny weather in the upper 60s and low 70s, yet the crowds of summer have yet to arrive. While there is a chance of some rain, it’s unlikely to be enough to get in the way of all the fun. Though May is the unofficial start to the tourist season, you might still be able to find some discounts while enjoying this perfect time for sightseeing, including destinations like the 4th-century UNESCO-protected Diocletian’s Palace in Split and the famous waterfalls of Krka National Park. The mild weather makes it ideal for hiking in the mountains where you’ll likely to see colorful wildflowers growing, as well as for paddling through the crystal-clear blue waters of the Adriatic on a kayaking excursion.
