Along the way you’ll stop in Ston to learn all about oyster harvesting and enjoy a tasting too. These local delicacies are famous around the globe, said to be some of the most delicious due to the high concentration of minerals and salt in Mali Ston bay. Continue on to Split where you’ll check into your hotel in the city center. From here, find an enticing spot for dinner in Diocletian’s Palace where the centuries-old buildings now house wine bars, restaurants, and cafes, or along the seaside promenade.

Enjoy a tour of Trogir and Split on a half-day tour, beginning in Trogir, walking along the seaside promenade to admire Kamerlengo, the 15th-century Venetian castle/fortress and other magnificent monuments like the Romanesque-gothic Cathedral of St. Lawrence, as your guide fills you in on their history. Once you’re back in Split you’ll stroll the narrow streets of the historic center, nearly half of which includes Diocletian’s Palace, home to some of the world’s most well-preserved Roman architecture. You’ll have free time afterwards to shop for gifts and souvenirs or enjoy a traditional Dalmatian meal and outstanding hospitality in a local restaurant.

This morning our driver will pick you up for private transfer to Sibenik. You’ll hop aboard your catamaran here and sail toward Solta Island. Enjoy the first swim stop of your trip in the spectacular Blue Lagoon, a tropical paradise with transparent turquoise water and soft sands. Continue to Brac, the island famous for its white limestone which was used to construct the homes and buildings here as well as some iconic buildings around the world, like the White House in Washington, D.C. Overnighting in Milna, we recommend dinner and a sunset on the veranda of the café near Marina Vlaška.

    Discover the beauty of Zlatni Rat beach this morning, one of the most beautiful and most photographed in all of Europe. From there, continue to Croatia’s oldest settlement, Stari Grad on Hvar Island which dates back to the 4th-century BC. Our local guide will meet you here for your next excursion that begins in charming Jelsa, home to one of the most popular wineries in the region. Here you’ll get a tasting while learning more about the wine before continuing to Hvar Town. Walk with your guide through the historic center to see landmarks like St. Stephen’s Cathedral before dining alfresco along the waterfront.

    Blue Cave

    Relax on deck surrounded by Croatian beauty while sailing through the island gems known as the Paklenis. Your first stop today will be at Bisevo Island for a tour of the Blue Cave, taken in a small boat that can get through the narrow entrance to witness the magical natural phenomenon that occurs, illuminating the interior in blue.     Your final day onboard, this morning you’ll depart for a six-hour sail, cruising back to Sibenik. You’ll have plenty of time to get your bags packed and enjoy relaxing on deck, soaking up the sun and scenery, arriving after lunch. Disembark here where you’ll meet your private driver for transfer to Plitvice Lakes, a little less than a two-hour journey north. Check into Hotel Degenija for the night, an intimate hotel in the village of Seliste Dreznicko known for its spectacular natural beauty and close proximity to Plitvice Lakes National Park which you’ll explore tomorrow on your own.

    Before continuing your journey to Zagreb you’ll have free time to visit the park with its 16 interconnected lakes and 100 waterfalls, rivers, and caves. Afterwards your driver will bring you to Croatia’s capital and large city with a rich history that dates back to the Middle Ages.
