Departing Opatija, we’ll sail toward Krk Island while you enjoy breakfast. Along the way, the captain will anchor in a secluded bay where you can leap into the enticing turquoise waters for a swim. Upon arrival in Krk, one of the Adriatic’s largest islands with many idyllic beaches along its shores, you’ll have the afternoon at your leisure to enjoy what interests you most. Nature lovers might walk picturesque trails or discover a hidden beach, while history enthusiasts can explore Krk Town’s cobbled streets, medieval walls, and a 12th-century Romanesque church before sampling the local cuisine for dinner independently.

Enjoy lunch and another swim stop as your cruise continues to Rab Island, renowned for its mix of stunning nature, historical, and cultural attractions. Anchoring just outside the walled Old Town with its four soaring church towers, you’ll join a tour with our local guide to discover the delights of the historic center. As you stroll the atmospheric streets and squares, watch for the artists who often create and display their works here. You’ll stop to enjoy a unique tasting of Rab’s signature treat, Rab cake, which dates back to the 12th century, invented by nuns to serve to the pope.

Departing Rab, the captain will make a swim stop while sailing toward Losinj, known as the “Island of Vitality.” Breathe in the scents of everything from aromatic pines and eucalyptus to lavender fields, wild herbs, and the fresh, salty sea air. Upon arrival, you can explore the town of Mali Losinj at your leisure, with attractions like the Museum of Losinj housed within the 19th-century Fritzi Palace, or join a dolphin watching boat tour for the chance to spot a well-known group of bottlenose dolphins. Either way, this evening, enjoy an alfresco meal on your own in one of the enticing eateries.

Cruising on to Zadar, look forward to another memorable swim stop in a tranquil bay and enjoying lunch onboard before reaching this historic city. Blending the modern with the ancient, it has a history dating back more than 3,000 years, with many remnants of the past to admire, from Roman ruins and medieval churches to Venetian buildings. A wine tasting tour will bring you into the countryside surrounding Zadar with its lush valleys and rolling hills. After returning to the ship, prepare for our always unforgettable Captain’s Dinner with live entertainment that will be hosted onboard this evening.

The ship continues to Sibenik, but you’ll need to choose between two exciting tours first. You can hop on a bus to discover lush forests, stunning waterfalls, and lakes in shades ranging from emerald to brilliant turquoise in UNESCO-listed Plitvice Lakes National Park. Or, stay onboard and enjoy sailing to Kornati National Park, with a swim stop in one of the most spectacular bays included. If you visit Plitvice, you’ll enjoy lunch there, while others will dine on board. After touring, you can explore Sibenik independently, including its iconic 15th-century St. James Cathedral, and enjoy dinner in one of the many outstanding eateries.

Enjoy your final swim stop in a picturesque bay and lunch while the ship makes its way to Primosten. If you’ve already cruised Croatia with us, you might opt to discover Primosten. Otherwise, join a local guide and your Cruise Director for a tour of the ancient city that was born when Roman Emperor Diocletian decided to build his retirement residence here. Diocletian’s Palace is a vast complex that takes up nearly half the historic center with some of the world’s most well-preserved Roman architecture. Your evening is free for sampling Split’s cuisine (transport back to the ship provided) or enjoy dinner in Primosten.

After a week of discovery, including top attractions and hidden gems from Opatija to Split, it will soon be time to say goodbye to the captain, crew, and the many new friends you’re likely to have made. You’ll enjoy breakfast before disembarkation, upon which your driver will meet you at the vessel to provide a private transfer to Split International Airport or your local hotel if you’ve decided to extend your time in the area.
