In the elegant restaurant, you’ll be served half-board meals which include a daily buffet breakfast with a generous selection of fresh fruit alongside a variety of tasty hot and cold items. Six set lunches with three courses and two evening meals are included too. All meals are prepared fresh onboard with a talented chef traveling along. This popular member of the crew often picks up ingredients from the towns visited on the cruise, for more authentic and delectable dishes. Guests can also purchase wine, beer, spirits, and soft drinks at the bar.

Born in the historic coastal city of Split on June 4, 1992, Captain Luka now lives in the seafaring village of Krilo Jesenice – renowned as the home of many of Croatia’s most respected ship captains. From an early age, Luka was immersed in maritime life, learning the ropes from Chief Engineer Gojo Rakuljic, a seasoned captain with decades of experience. His journey began aboard the Princess Aloha, working alongside the Rakuljic family. There, he rose through the ranks from sailor to first officer, gaining invaluable hands-on experience along the way. In 2021, when Bellissima was launched, Luka was proudly appointed as captain by the Rakuljic family, entrusted with upholding their longstanding tradition of excellence at sea—a legacy that spans generations. Luka shares his passion for the sea with his wife Ina, who is also part of the cruise industry. Together, they’re raising two sons, and hope that their youngest, Damir, will one day follow in his father’s footsteps and carry on the family’s proud maritime tradition.
