Day 2 Krk to Rab

You’ll see many traces of its long history in the Romanesque church towers, ancient facades, stone streets and grand palaces. The squares and many of its streets are like walking through an open-air gallery with artists working outside. A couple of the must-dos here include making the climb up Kamenjak Hill to watch a colorful sunset when weather permits, and sample some of the island’s famous signature cake called “Rapska torta,” with its recipe a well-kept secret.
- Excursions Included: Guided walking tour of Rab

Day 3 Rab to Zadar

Continuing on to the intriguing city of Zadar, we’ll stop on the tiny island of Maun for a swim first, passing the moon-like landscape of Pag Island along the way. This vibrant living city boasts a historic Old Town with Roman ruins and medieval churches as well as cosmopolitan cafes and world-class museums. A guided tour will bring you to its most impressive sites while enjoying the enchanting atmosphere and scenic coastal setting. Discover the 1st-century Roman Forum, the 9th-century church of St. Donatus and the imposing 16th-century city walls. Visit two unique attractions, the one-of-a-kind Sea Organ which plays music using the sea and “The Greeting to the Sun,” a model of the solar system with sound transposed into a light show along the waterfront after sunset.

Day 4 Zadar to Kornati National Park

Cruising south to the Kornati archipelago, also referred to as the Stomorski islands, a region abundant in historical and cultural remains, we’ll sail through these 140 unforgettable isles, islets and reefs, where in many places that is little sign of civilization. There are ancient Roman villas, an old Christian church of St. Mary, an Illyrian fortress as well as medieval fortresses and settlements. The islands are mostly barren with no sources of freshwater, riddled with grottoes, rugged cliffs and caves. With no forests, the rock formations contrasted against the vivid blue sea are a sight to behold. You’ll overnight on Dugi Otok, anchoring in Telascica Bay.

One of the most popular islands in the north Adriatic Sea, with wonderfully secluded coves and an alluring Mediterranean vibe, you’ll be led on an inspiring walking tour through Mali Lošinj before visiting the Museum of Apoxyomenos. The institution is focused around an ancient bronze athlete that was discovered underwater near the island. Afterward, take a walk to the smaller town of Veli Lošinj or the Lošinj Aromati Garden, both within easy reach on foot.

It also boasts some impressive stone walls. Mali Lošinj and Cres islands were once all one island, until the Romans decided to dig a narrow channel which separates them. You’ll have the opportunity for an optional dinner in the village of Loznati to sample some of the delicious traditional lamb dishes Cres is known for too.
