Rara Avis Overview
Representing the new generation of luxurious, traditional gulets for sailing the spectacular Croatian coast and nearby islands, the Rara Avis retains the heritage while being beautifully crafted with modern, high-tech materials. Embarking on her maiden voyage in 2018, the 108-foot-long yacht has already developed a number of fans with her state-of-the-art amenities, that include a large sundeck with a Jacuzzi and enough loungers for every passenger, Wi-Fi throughout, and watersports gear like snorkeling and fishing equipment, a tender boat, water skis and paddleboards.
The Rara Avis has a maximum capacity for 12 guests, accommodated in six air-conditioned cabins, one Master, one VIP, two double and two twins. Light and airy, each one was designed for guests’ comfort and beautifully appointed. All include lots of storage along with the latest safety equipment, luxurious bed linens and a private bathroom with a shower, toilet, hairdryer, personal toiletries like soap and shampoo, bath and beach towels.
Facilities & Public Areas
While the Rara Avis is sleek and graceful, she offers multiple common spaces for mingling, relaxing and playing. She has a huge deck with comfortable loungers for enjoying the passing views and the ever-present sunshine, along with a soothing Jacuzzi. The swimming platform at the rear makes it easy to reach those sparkling blue waters of the Adriatic for a swim. All sorts of other watersports can be enjoyed too, with the ship’s impressive collection of water toys like fishing and snorkeling gear, wakeboards, standup paddleboards, jet skis and water skis. If you want to watch the game or catch up on the news at home, there’s also an elegant salon with comfortable seating and a TV, and you’ll find both indoor and outdoor dining areas.
You’ll have a talented chef traveling with you, and the option to choose either half-board meals, which includes breakfast and lunch, or full-board, breakfast, lunch and dinner. No matter what your choice you can look forward to delicious, expertly prepared gourmet meals made with fresh ingredients, often based on the local produce. Your cruise assistant will forward your group’s allergies, likes and dislikes to the chef to ensure all members of your party are catered to. You can buy drinks at the yacht’s bar, paying according to consumption, or choose from several domestic all-inclusive alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage packages.
