Upon your arrival to Split’s airport you’ll be met by your private driver for transfer to Cornaro Hotel, an upscale property that’s just a three-minute walk from Diocletian’s Palace. Take time to settle in, relax and refresh before heading out to explore on your own. A walk along the waterfront Riva promenade offers great people watching along with cafes and wine bars for unwinding with a glass. Or you might stroll through the palace, a maze-like complex with well-preserved Roman buildings housing shops, galleries, restaurants, and more. For one of the best views of the sunset, city and harbor, climb nearby Marjan Hill.

Follow your guide through the labyrinth of small stone streets and along the seaside promenade overlooking the Venetian castle and fortress. From there, you’ll discover Split’s ancient historic center and Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace followed by free time to enjoy delicious traditional Dalmatian fare or shop for souvenirs.
