      Split Aerial View Diocletian's Palace

Upon your arrival to Split, our driver will meet you for transfer to your ship that awaits in the port, with check-in from 2 p.m. After exploring the vessel and settling in, join a local guide for a tour of this remarkable city and it’s 1,700-year-old historic center. That includes the waterfront promenade and 4th-century Diocletian’s Palace, a complex with narrow cobbled streets lined with some of the most well-preserved Roman architecture. Today the buildings serve as wine bars, restaurants, cafes, boutiques, and galleries. You’ll get insight into it all as you wander through, returning to your ship afterwards. This evening get introduced to the crew and your fellow passengers at a meet-and-greet party that includes dinner and cocktails, overnighting in Split.

A guided tour will bring you through Hvar’s Old Town with its 7th-century fortifications, Europe’s oldest still active community theater, and lively historic piazzas. Return to the ship to continuing cruising while enjoying lunch. Your next destination is unspoiled Vis, left largely undeveloped as it was closed to the public while used as a military base for 40 years. Enjoy its beautifully preserved architecture, scenic views and tasty bites, with many traditional taverns and restaurants on the promenade.

      • Excursions Included: Guided walking tour of Hvar

You’ll hop onto a small boat that can squeeze through the cave’s entrance to witness a remarkable sight. A crack in the roof allows the sunlight to reflect off the white limestone bottom, causing a silvery-blue hue to illuminate the interior. Afterward the ship will cruise on towards Primosten, a small, pretty town that lies between Trogir and Sibenik, making a stop to swim along the way. Arrive in the late afternoon, transferring further inland for an authentic traditional dinner before returning to your spacious cabin onboard for the night in Primosten.

You’ll see towering cliffs and gorgeous grottoes along with fascinating ruins like Roman villas, an ancient fortress, medieval settlements, and the old Christian church of St. Mary. From here continue to Zadar, your overnight destination. Its rich history can be seen around nearly every turn, including a 1st-century Roman forum and the 9th-century St. Donat church, the city’s symbol. There are more than 30 churches in its historic center, magnificent palaces, a museum with ancient glass, and perhaps most famously the waterfront art installations, including the Sea Organ and Greeting to the Sun.

You’ll have time to explore the main town of Mali Losinj, which sits within a large natural harbor. We suggest visiting the Museum of Apoxyomenos, focused on an ancient bronze statue of an athlete discovered off its shores in the sea. You can choose to stroll through the Losinj Aromatic Garden or visit Veli Losinj, the island’s smaller town too, either of which are easily reached on foot.

In addition to its striking natural scenery, there are many dinosaur footprints here. After lunch, visit Brijuni National Park to witness the exceptional harmony between plant, animals, and humans. Your next destination is where you’ll overnight, Pula, a place that dates back to prehistoric times, enjoying a strategic location that’s made it a popular place to occupy. It’s been destroyed and rebuilt multiple times, but its Roman arena is the only amphitheater of its kind to have all four side towers preserved. This evening, you’ll join us for the Captain’s Dinner onboard, complete with live entertainment.

Great cruise, shame about the weather!

Highly recommend this cruise to anyone looking to explore the beautiful Dalmatian coast. We met some really amazing people on board and despite some very wet October weather, we enjoyed the cruise and made some new friends.
